From San Sebastián, Spain
Beside of teaching Spanish language lessons, I am responsible for
teacher’s training, as well as maintaining and ensuring quality in
teaching. My goal is to consolidate an appropriate working atmosphere in
order to promote the teaching of Spanish language and culture in the
most pleasant and appropriate way for our young students.
Studied
in Hispanic Literature and Theory of Literature by the University of
Valladolid (Spain), My Ph.D. focuses on inter-textual connections among
cultural texts, claiming the notion of Literature as an enormous single
book ready to be used by readers and writers. I have published several
articles in pear review journals as well as chapters in specialized
books in Spanish.
With more than eight years of teaching experience, I am conscious of the importance of attending diversity in the classroom and situating the student in the center of the teaching-learning process. My desire to excel as a teacher led me to Norway, where I took a Master in Special Needs Education at the University of Oslo. This degree has broadened my knowledge about teaching technics and methodologies, which I am willing to apply in Spanish World.

Eduardo enjoys teaching Spanish because it is a great opportunity to travel and meet people from other cultures and exchange knowledge with people with different points of view. Eduardo shows great interest in all kinds of artistic expressions: literature, music, painting, theater, cinema, gastronomy and he always uses these as a tool to teach Spanish in class. And there is a very important point to note: He loves Dim Sum!

Marjori has been fortunate enough to have taught Spanish in some European countries to a wide range of students from different cultures.
She enjoys creating an engaging and inspiring learning environment for her students whilst expressing not only the language at a variety of levels but also an insight into the Spanish culture.
From Cádiz, Spain
“When I was learning English in the UK, my love for teaching language has grown while witnessing how learning a second language can bring a positive and enduring impact on life. It is there to enhance the culture, understanding the values, norms and manners of others. People learn who they really are through the learning process and find out how others communicate and live.
Teaching is a challenging career, nothing but rewarding. It requires the best of the teacher but also the aim of learning has to be intentional for the student. There is where the magic and the communication happens, teacher and student are sharing knowledge and both are learning about themselves and their cultures. Could any job be more exciting?”
From Córdoba, Argentina
My name is Jorge, I was born in Argentina, obtained my degree in Primary School Education in 2004 and dedicated most of my career to teaching the Spanish language and culture to people from all ages and nationalities. The qualifications I hold in the area of teaching Spanish as a foreign language together with a solid educational foundation, passion for teaching and the experience I acquired over 11 years in different countries such as Argentina, Egypt, Turkey and currently Hong Kong, tutoring and mentoring students, would suggest I am suitable for helping students advance their understanding of Spanish language and culture. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate people and educational abilities in reputed institutions as Cervantes, Berlitz, Montessori and other international schools, I am still training professionally to give the best of myself to each student.
From Bilbao, Spain

In my free time I love travelling, going to the cinema and going hiking in one of the many amazing hiking trails that Hong Kong has to offer.

Before I started working at Spanish World in Hong Kong, I worked as a Spanish teacher in Spain, Germany and Portugal. I like teaching Spanish in other countries because of the opportunity to know new places, different cultures and people.
